Advanced Practice Nurse (Temporary) - Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine

Academic Affairs & Student Services at Rowan-Virtua SOM is in need of an advanced practice nurse who will serve as a key team member on a mobile health unit in Cumberland County, New Jersey, providing screening and treatment for chronic health conditions.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Conduct physical examinations to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses among patients engaged through mobile outreach.
+ Supervise mobile unit staff/students as they provide on-site screenings and point-of-care blood testing/imaging; provides referrals as appropriate.
+ Provide preventive services including vaccinations, health screenings, chronic disease self-management, and wellness education.
+ Ensure medical supplies and diagnostic equipment are maintained and functioning properly on the mobile unit.
