Responsibilities

• Provide immediate treatment and transportation of sick and injured individuals to appropriate medical facilities.
• Operate within the scope of Advanced Care Provider (ACP) practice, following specified educational training.
• Make decisions, exercise leadership and ensure the safety of the ambulance throughout each shift.
• Work alongside Primary Care Paramedics (PCPs) and Intermediate Care Paramedics (ICPS) on a daily basis, providing reliable insight during emergency medical situations.
• Maintain high levels of professionalism, communication, and knowledge. Conduct oneself in a safe and discreet manner and justify conduct to patients, family members, hospital staff, management, public agencies, and legal courts as required.
