Administrative Officer, Community Care (CC) Service

Summary The position reports to the Assistant Chief of the Community Care (CC) Service. The incumbent will have full responsibility for administrative functioning of CC through effective utilization of all available resources to provide the best possible patient care. This requires an understanding of the critical balance between the administrative and clinical functions in the community care delivery system as well as the San Diego VA health care delivery system. Responsibilities The Administrative Officer (AO) has primary responsibility for the administrative and operational management of the services and programs of the CC Service at the VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS).
