Background

The UNDP Peace and Stabilization Programme Team recently concluded a camp transformation project and conducted consultations with stakeholders such as the Joint Peace Mechanisms, particularly the Task Force on Decommissioned Combatants and their Communities (TFDCC). The consultations identified a need for a consolidated database and management system to inform, manage, and document socio‑economic services for decommissioned combatants (DCs) and their communities. The project, entitled “Unifying Pathways, Linkages and Inclusive Facilitation of Transformative Services for Decommissioned Combatants (UPLIFT DC),” is funded by the Bangsamoro Normalization Trust Fund and managed in partnership with The World Bank.
