Graduate Nursing Adjunct Instructor

Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as-needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester/term basis. Adjunct Instructors hold the responsibility for the courses taught. Adjunct Instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work. Adjunct Instructors may teach no more than 8 semester hours per semester. In Class Teaching Percentage Online Teaching Percentage Minimum Qualifications 1. An earned graduate degree in nursing.2. An active, unencumbered Alabama registered nurse license, or a multistate registered nurse license issued by a party state.3. Academic and experiential qualified to teach in the area assigned.4.
