Adjunct Faculty - Communication Sciences and Disorders and Speech-Language Pathology Programs

Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. A particular need in SLP is for the medically based speech pathology courses (e.g., tracheostomized and ventilator dependency and head and neck cancer) provided in a synchronous distance education environment. Essential Duties Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades. Additional Skills Required Certifications in a field relevant to the course, if applicable.
