Acupuncture Therapist

Job Description

Provides routine acupuncture and Eastern medicine therapy services to UC Health Integrative Medicine patients/clients. An acupuncturist may perform or prescribe the use of acupuncture, acupressure, nutrition, diet, and additional practices of Eastern medicine as delineated under Ohio acupuncture licensure to promote, maintain, and restore health. Work with Integrative Medicine to promote patient/participant wellness. This position will be located in the new Blood Cancer Healing Center at least 50% of the time.

PATIENT POPULATION - Engages in population-appropriate communication. Knows growth and development milestones and tasks. Gives clear instructions to patients/families regarding treatment.
