Active Treatment Specialist

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) has an immediate opening for an Active Treatment Specialist. The Active Treatment Specialist is responsible for the oversight, coordination, monitoring, and continuous review of Active Treatment for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities that remain in a nursing facility for greater than 180 days without an immediate placement option. These cases require the development of a Resident Integrated Service Plan (RISP), monthly attendance at the nursing facility, and continuous education to nursing facility staff and providers on the implementation of Active Treatment. *_Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):_* - Ensure that high quality assessments are conducted to determine baseline needs for individuals identified as needing Active Treatment. - Conduct Resident Integrated Services Plan (RISP) meetings for the development and ongoing quarterly review of an integra...
