Accounts Payable Manager

Job Description
A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their Accounts Payable department. You will oversee daily operations and supervision of the AP department, and act as AP system super user by leading system updates and implementations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing 6 team members, delegating roles and responsibilities, and managing questions on a daily basis. You will be responsible for ensuring all payments to suppliers/vendors are made timely and accurately, assisting with the preparation of checks and various electronic payments, investigating and resolving any problems associated with processing invoices, ensuring accurate annual distribution of 1099's, and assisting with weekly cash forecasts.
