Accounts Executive

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support our finance operations and gain hands-on experience in UK accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations
Maintain and update financial records and accounting ledgers
Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
Process purchase and sales invoices accurately
Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
Support VAT return preparation and compliance tasks
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepayments under supervision
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Ensure accurate record-keeping and financial data management
Requirements
Currently studying towards ACCA / ACA / CIMA or relevant qualification
1–2 years of accounting experience (UK accounting experience preferred)
Basic understanding of VAT and UK accounting principles
