Sheridan Maine are working with a global business based in Newbury who are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, primary duties of the role include:
- Checking payments and allocating to accounts
- Dealing with invoice and payment queries
- Monitoring aged debt and undertaking credit control duties
- Performing account reconciliations
- Producing management reports
- Setting up new customers on to the accounting system
- Assessing customer account limits and performing credit checks
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with finance experience (accounts receivable/ credit control) or someone looking for a company that can provide training and study support for AAT. The successful candidate will be hard working and reliable, a good team player and enthusiastic. It is essential to be a team player and have good excel skills.
