Accounting Manager opportunity with Ronkonkoma manufacturing company. This role involves overseeing a team of accounting staff and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a working manager, hands-on with all operational accounting as well as experienced in managing accounting processes.


Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and meet organizational deadlines.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.

• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.

• Coordinate and assist with financial statement audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with audit requirements.
