The Accounting Assistant provides day-to-day support to the Accounting Department by assisting with financial records, data entry, reconciliations, and administrative accounting tasks.
Job Description
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting schedules
- Help prepare invoices, billing statements, and payment records
- Assist with bank reconciliations and tracking of collections, and disbursements
- Organize and maintain accounting files, both digital and physical
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports for management review
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding billing, payments, and documentation
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of financial and client information
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
