Summary The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an Accountant position located in Wichita Kansas. Responsibilities The duties of the Accountant consist of but are not limited to the following: Participate in daily operations of the Medical Center's accounting system and responsible for systematic verification and appraisal of records, reports, related transaction. Maintain accounting records and accumulate cost data. Prepare, review, and analyze accounting reports and statements. Reviews and complete corrections for reconciliations. Perform quarterly quality assurance reviews and monitor corrective actions taken. Provide technical assistance to Accounting Technicians in the maintenance of the General Ledger in cost accounting functions.
