About the job Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper - Automotive

A well-established automotive group is seeking an experienced Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper to join its head office team, supporting the financial operations of multiple dealership sites.
This role requires strong accounting experience within the motor industry dealership environment , with responsibility for accurate financial processing, reconciliations, and reporting in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven setting.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) essential
Minimum 5+ years' experience as an Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper
Motor industry dealership experience essential
Strong understanding of dealership accounting processes and financial controls
Experience in high-volume environments with strict month‑end deadlines
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Skills & Competencies
Strong numerical and analytical ability
High attention to detail and accuracy
