Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join their growing team. This position is based just outside of St. John's, NL , offering a hybrid work arrangement and an easy commute of approximately 30 minutes south of the city.

Working closely with ownership and external accountants, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of businesses spanning industries including construction, hospitality, storage, powersports, commercial fishing, and retail.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple companies (approximately 5–6 entities)
• Prepare and file HST remittances
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage day-to-day banking activities
