Job Title: Financial Reporting SO Accountant Location: Belfast Hours: Full-time, 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm) Salary: £41,272 Duration: Temporary – Until End of August 2026 Start Date: ASAP About the Role On behalf of our client, Apple Recruitment Services are delighted to be recruiting for a Financial Reporting SO Accountant to join a leading public sector organisation This role will support the Financial Reporting Team and involves financial reporting, VAT compliance, fixed asset management, audit support, staff management, and ensuring robust financial governance across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Annual Reports and Accounts in accordance with HM Treasury and Department of Finance guidance, incorporating IFRS Dealing with internal and external auditors including the Northern Ireland Audit Office Compliance with VAT reporting Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register for the organisation Analysis of financial data Production of monthly and/or q...
