Accountant 2.1 - Great Falls / Havre

The*Montana Department of Transportation (MDT)*is recruiting for an Accountant 2.1 to support the Great Falls District. This position can be located in the Great Falls office or the Havre office. Responsible for providing high-level accounting support to District staff by providing technical assistance on cost centers, performing reconciliations, processing journals, researching accounting transactions and errors, and account coding guidance. Will perform financial analysis to ensure consistent and proper accounting treatment between programs. This position is part of a career ladder with career advancement opportunities.
