7.5t Driver and Operative

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a 7.5t Driver and Wate Operative to join Veolia on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Please note that this role is approximately 80% manual labour and 20% driving, so candidates must be comfortable with regular lifting, moving waste containers and working in an active outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely around site

* Collecting and transporting 1100-litre wheelie bins and other waste containers

* Completing scheduled and ad-hoc waste collections

* Returning waste to the waste yard for processing

* Sorting and segregating waste and recyclable materials

Requirements:

* Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence
