6-12 Teaching Assistant/Aide Building Substitute

Recruiting for a day-to-day building substitute to fill-in for teacher aides or teaching assistants while they are out of the classroom.

In this job as a Paraprofessional, you may be required to complete the following tasks:


+ Lift, carry, pull up to 60 lbs.

+ Be outdoors for up to an hour year around in potentially inclement weather

+ Be on your feet and supervising consistently for up to an hour

+ Be able to run and keep up with a child

+ With training, operate a copier and complete classroom cutting and clerical tasks

+ Speak and communicate clearly with children

+ Be able to sit and get up from the floor or low seated position.

+ Be part of a P.E. class and be able to support sport activities


Job Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus
