Job Description
- Lead the design and development of automotive interior and exterior components, including doors, roofs, carpets, and other vehicle accessories, based on product concepts and technical requirements provided by the parent company in Japan.
- Create, review, and optimize complex 3D CAD models using Rhino, as well as 2D drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation to support product development and manufacturing requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and CAD engineers, ensuring design quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
- Evaluate design feasibility, manufacturability, cost implications, and quality requirements, and propose design improvements when necessary.
