Counselor
Administrative Relationships
- Has direct responsibility to the school principal or designee for performance of delegated functions.
- Works through building administrator with appropriate District Office administrator to implement professional activities and in-service training.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Educational Counseling
- Program planning and adjustment
- Confer with students regarding credit and graduation requirements
- Assist students in making the transition from one school level to another and from one program to another.
- Counsel students and/or parents regarding special programs
- Monitor students’ progress
