1:1 Tutor - Minehead, Somerset
Quantum Scholars is looking for a supportive and experienced SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition for a secondary-aged child in Minehead, Somerset.
This is an in-person, home-based role, delivering 11 hours of tuition per week in core subjects at the child's home. This is not online work. The tutor will provide tailored academic support that reflects the child's individual needs, confidence levels and learning goals.
The role may involve
Delivering one-to-one tuition in core subjects, including English, maths and science
Planning engaging and accessible lessons for a secondary-aged learner
Adapting teaching approaches and resources to meet the child's SEN needs
Supporting academic progress, confidence and engagement with learning
Building a positive and consistent working relationship with the child
